Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of mechanical laboratory equipment and workshop machines.
- Support faculty and students during practical classes, workshops, and technical demonstrations.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and functioning of mechanical tools and instruments.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical equipment and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, tools, consumables, and equipment records.
- Provide technical support for student mini projects and final-year projects.
- Assist in conducting seminars, industrial visits, exhibitions, and departmental technical events.
- Support preparation of technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
- Help students in fabrication, machining, CAD/CAM, and workshop-related activities.
- Ensure laboratory safety procedures and workshop regulations are followed.
- Maintain stock registers, maintenance logs, and usage records.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and workshop practices
- Familiarity with mechanical laboratory equipment and tools
- Understanding of CAD/CAM software and engineering drawings is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering

- Freshers may apply
- Prior experience in laboratory support, workshop assistance, or technical maintenance is preferred
