We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager / Senior Restaurant
Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant while ensuring exceptional
guest experiences, operational excellence, and team performance. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for managing restaurant operations, leading the front-of-house team, maintaining
service quality, achieving sales targets, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance, and driving
overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Restaurant Operations
Manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless coordination
between dining, service, billing, pantry, and kitchen teams.
Ensure timely opening and closing of the restaurant with complete operational readiness.
Monitor shift planning, staff deployment, and operational efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, service standards, grooming policies, and
operational guidelines.
2. Guest Experience & Customer Service
Deliver an outstanding dining experience by maintaining high service standards.
Address guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor guest feedback, table turnover, and service efficiency.
Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff including captains, stewards, cashiers, and
support teams.
Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance, and optimize manpower utilization.
Conduct daily team briefings covering service standards, menu updates, grooming, hygiene,
and safety.
Coach and mentor employees to improve productivity and service excellence.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and adherence to organizational policies.
4. Sales, Revenue & Cash Management
Drive sales performance through excellent guest service and operational efficiency.
Oversee billing operations, discounts, voids, cancellations, and POS system accuracy
(PetPooja or equivalent).
Ensure proper cash handling procedures, shift closing, reconciliation, and cash deposits.
Support dine-in, takeaway, banquet, and online food delivery operations.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor inventory levels for consumables, packaging materials, uniforms, and operational
supplies.
Control food wastage, breakage, pilferage, and operational losses.
Coordinate with the kitchen and procurement teams for timely stock replenishment.
Ensure effective cost management without compromising service quality.
6. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all front-of-house areas.
Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, washrooms, housekeeping, and pest control
measures.
Ensure compliance with food safety, fire safety, and company health & safety standards.
Maintain operational compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order execution and service flow.
Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee
discipline.
Liaise with Maintenance, IT, Audit, MIS, and Procurement teams for operational support and
issue resolution.
8. Training & Development
Train restaurant staff on customer service, menu knowledge, communication skills, and SOP
compliance.
Identify performance gaps and recommend learning and development initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline.
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
Experience
Restaurant Manager: 8+ years of experience in restaurant operations, including at least 3
years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Senior Restaurant Manager: 10–12+ years of experience managing high-volume restaurants
with proven leadership and operational excellence.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in Casual Dining Restaurants (CDR), Fine Dining, QSR, or Hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, guest engagement, and operational
controls.
Demonstrated success in driving sales, improving guest satisfaction, and managing large
teams.
Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
