Job Summary
EIG Overseas is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Student Counselor for our Kottayam branch. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students regarding overseas education opportunities, handling admissions counseling, and supporting students throughout the study abroad process.
Responsibilities
Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities and courses.
Guide students in selecting suitable universities and programs.
Handle student inquiries, follow-ups, and admission procedures.
Provide accurate information regarding visa processes, scholarships, and documentation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Achieve counseling and admission targets assigned by the company.
Coordinate with the admissions and processing team for smooth application handling.
Maintain proper records of leads, inquiries, and student data.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in study abroad counseling or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling and convincing abilities.
Knowledge about international education processes and admissions.
Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
