We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer specialising in Bridal Wear to join our design team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of bridal fashion, traditional Indian silhouettes, embroidery, embellishments and customised occasion wear. The role involves working closely with brides and clients to create elegant, personalised outfits from concept to final execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bridal lehengas, wedding gowns, bridal sarees, reception outfits and customised bridal wear.
- Understand clients' requirements and translate their ideas into attractive and practical designs.
- Create fashion sketches, design concepts and detailed specifications for production.
- Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, embroidery, stones, beads and other embellishments.
- Develop unique bridal designs based on current fashion trends while maintaining the boutique's design identity.
- Coordinate with tailors, embroidery teams and other production staff to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to achieve the desired fit and finish.
- Handle multiple bridal orders while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in developing new bridal collections and seasonal designs.
- Stay updated with current bridal fashion trends, colours, silhouettes, embroidery techniques and styling trends.
- Work closely with the sales and styling team to provide suitable design recommendations to clients.
Requirements
- Qualification in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- Previous experience in bridal wear or occasion wear designing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian bridal wear and contemporary bridal fashion.
- Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, embroidery and embellishment techniques.
- Ability to create fashion sketches and communicate designs clearly to production teams.
- Good colour sense, creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple custom orders.
- Candidates with practical experience in bridal boutiques, designer studios or ethnic-wear brands will be preferred.

Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
