Job Title: MHM Trainer / Social Worker
Location: Vellore, Tamil Nadu
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated MHM Trainer / Social Worker to implement Menstrual Health Management (MHM) programs in communities, schools, and institutions across Vellore. The role involves conducting awareness sessions, mobilizing beneficiaries, coordinating health camps, supporting menstrual product distribution, and promoting menstrual hygiene and women’s health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Menstrual Health Awareness & Training
- Conduct menstrual health and hygiene awareness sessions for women and adolescent girls.
- Educate beneficiaries on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and personal hygiene.
- Address myths, misconceptions, and stigma related to menstruation.
- Promote safe, sustainable, and eco-friendly menstrual products.
- Deliver interactive educational programs in schools and communities.
Community Mobilization
- Identify and mobilize beneficiaries for workshops, awareness programs, and health camps.
- Build strong relationships with schools, SHGs, community leaders, NGOs, and local stakeholders.
- Conduct outreach activities and household visits when required.
Menstrual Product Distribution
- Support distribution of sanitary napkins and menstrual cups.
- Educate beneficiaries on proper usage, maintenance, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate beneficiary records and distribution reports.
Health Camp Coordination
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals for women’s health camps.
- Manage registrations, documentation, logistics, and participant engagement.
- Facilitate referrals and follow-up support for beneficiaries.
School Outreach & Educational Initiatives
- Conduct awareness sessions in schools and colleges.
- Facilitate discussions using educational materials and resources.
- Encourage open conversations around menstrual health and hygiene.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain attendance records, beneficiary databases, and activity reports.
- Collect feedback and assessment data.
- Document success stories, case studies, and photographs.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree (MSW/MPH) preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in NGO, CSR, public health, community development, or social impact programs.
- Experience in women’s health, adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, or education programs preferred.
- Prior experience conducting training sessions, workshops, or awareness campaigns.
Skills Required
- Strong training and facilitation skills.

- Community mobilization and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Fluency in Tamil and working knowledge of English.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
