Key Responsibilities1. OPD Operations Management
- Supervise and manage daily OPD activities on the hospital floor.
- Ensure smooth patient flow from registration to consultation and diagnostics.
- Monitor waiting time and appointment scheduling.
- Coordinate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and nursing staff.
2. Patient Experience & Service
- Ensure patients receive efficient and courteous service.
- Handle patient queries and complaints on the floor.
- Guide patients regarding consultation rooms, diagnostics, and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction.
3. Team Coordination
- Supervise optometrists, eye counsellors, technicians, and front office staff.
- Assign duties and monitor staff performance.
- Ensure staff follow hospital protocols and SOPs.
- Conduct daily briefings and coordination meetings.
4. Doctor Coordination
- Coordinate with ophthalmologists regarding patient scheduling and OPD load.
- Ensure doctors’ consultation rooms are properly prepared.
- Manage patient queues for special clinics (retina, glaucoma, cataract, LASIK, etc.).
5. Workflow & Process Monitoring
- Ensure registration → vision testing → consultation → diagnostics → counselling flow runs smoothly.
- Monitor OPD productivity and efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily OPD patient reports and statistics.
- Monitor appointment schedules and cancellations.
- Report operational issues to hospital administration.
7. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the OPD floor.
- Ensure patient privacy and ethical practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
