Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and adapting features to align with organizational needs. The position requires working with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver seamless solutions while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of configuring and customizing SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
- Experience in managing software releases and ensuring system stability in packaged or cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with using standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to develop and integrate solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP Sales and Distribution processes.
- Understanding of business processes related to sales, order management, and distribution within enterprise systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
