Testing & Quality Analysis
- Perform laboratory testing of TMT bars, billets, and structural materials.
- Conduct tensile, bend, rebend, hardness, and chemical composition tests.
- Check dimensions, weight, and surface quality of finished products.
- Ensure testing complies with IS standards and quality procedures.
Sample Collection & Inspection
- Collect production samples from rolling mill and production lines.
- Inspect raw materials and finished goods for defects or deviations.
- Maintain accurate sample identification and traceability.
Laboratory Equipment Handling
- Operate and maintain lab equipment such as:
- Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
- Spectrometer
- Hardness Tester
- Weighing Instruments
- Report calibration or maintenance requirements of lab instruments.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain test reports and quality records.
- Record inspection results and communicate deviations to production teams.
- Maintain daily laboratory logs and reports.
- Diploma/B.Sc./ITI in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field.
- Certification in quality testing or laboratory operations is an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
