A Laravel PHP Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Optimize database queries and manage MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
Ensure security best practices and performance optimization.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js, React, or Blade templates).
Use Git for version control and follow Agile development processes.
Write unit tests and ensure software quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in PHP development with Laravel framework.
Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MVC architecture.
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js (optional).
Understanding of Cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a team player mindset.
