Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient team management, and smooth restaurant functioning. The ideal candidate should have experience in Arabic and Lebanese dining concepts, strong leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and guide service staff, captains, stewards, and cashiers.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and controlling operational costs.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ordering of restaurant supplies.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support staff training and development initiatives.
- Prepare daily sales, operational, and staff reports as required.
Requirements
- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in Arabic, Lebanese, or Middle Eastern cuisine restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage peak-hour operations.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
