Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, journal vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and cash-flow statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances and ensure timely filing and payments.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide the required schedules, documents, and supporting information.
- Assist with monthly closing and year-end closing activities.
- Review accounting entries and identify discrepancies or errors.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation and expense control.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, banks, and other stakeholders regarding accounts-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
- Experience with accounting/ERP software and advanced Excel functions.
