Job Description: Plumber
Reports To: Manager/HOD
Job SummaryA Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role involves diagnosing plumbing issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing efficient solutions to maintain water supply and drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify faults, leaks, or blockages.
- Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality. .
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and others as required.
- Keep work areas clean and ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
