Meet the Team
Core to the health and growth of our business, Millennium’s Information Technology organization develops flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems that support the firm’s active, multi-manager platform. This team focuses on the Equity Derivatives platform and infrastructure, partnering closely with developers, quants, and production support teams to maintain a reliable, high-performing environment for critical trading and risk-related workflows.
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and support internal platforms used by Equity Derivatives portfolio managers, quants, and technology teams
- Develop robust, automated tooling to streamline deployments, configuration management, and failover processes
- Write, test, support, and maintain high-quality code using best practices, including unit testing, documentation, and CI/CD automation
- Profile application stacks to identify latency bottlenecks and drive measurable platform performance improvements
- Apply AI-enabled approaches to strengthen data validation, anomaly detection, and support automation
- Provide Level 2 production support, including troubleshooting, incident response, and performance tuning for critical systems
- Partner closely with developers, quants, and support teams to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and scalability
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Python, Groovy, or C++
- Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with messaging middleware such as Kafka or Solace
- Experience with Equity Derivatives pricing, risk, or volatility fitting applications is a plus
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong ownership, sound judgment under pressure, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
