A garment production assistant is responsible for supporting the overall garment production process by performing tasks like assisting with fabric cutting, sewing operations, quality checks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth workflow on the production line, often working under the supervision of a production manager or supervisor in a garment manufacturing facility.
