Volume Optimization: Master the art of shipping "air" (empty packaging) by optimizing load planning and utilizing $Freight-per-Unit$ metrics to drive down costs.
Warehouse Leadership: Oversee large-scale storage of raw materials (paper/resin) and finished goods at our Biparnna Para facility, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy.
Carrier Partnership: Build and maintain a robust carrier network, negotiating long-term contracts that ensure capacity during peak seasonal surges and local transport challenges.
Process Automation: Implement and refine our TMS/ERP integrations to move away from manual tracking toward real-time, data-driven visibility.
Requirements
Experience: 3 - 5 years in Logistics/Supply Chain, with at least 3 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Packaging, Plastics, or Industrial goods preferred).
Expertise: Deep understanding of $3PL$ vs. $Asset-Based$ carrier models and familiarity with regional transport regulations in West Bengal.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA or certifications like CSCP are a major plus).
Software: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and logistics modeling tools.
