We are looking for a dynamic, efficient, and passionate Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, competency-based instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum, fostering students' understanding of the subject. Through experiential and inquiry-based learning, the teacher will inspire students to become informed, responsible, and empathetic global citizens.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Teach concepts in subject using experiential, competency-based, and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Foster critical thinking, inquiry, problem-solving, and collaborative learning through discussions, projects, case studies, and real-world applications.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and student-centred classroom that encourages participation, curiosity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments in line with CBSE assessment practices and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain student records, assessment data, and documentation as per school and CBSE requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Participate actively in school events, field visits, assemblies, co-curricular activities, and continuous professional development programmes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Science, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. .
- Applicant should have 2-5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum, competency-based education, and NEP 2020 practices.
