Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Grinder Man to prepare, finish, and smooth metal components using grinding and finishing tools. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet quality standards by removing excess material, burrs, weld spatter, and surface imperfections while following established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate hand-held grinding machines to smooth and finish metal components.
· Remove burrs, sharp edges, weld spatter, rust, and excess material from fabricated parts.
· Prepare surfaces for welding, painting, coating, or assembly.
· Read basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
· Select and install appropriate grinding wheels, discs, and abrasive tools for specific applications.
· Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
· Perform minor maintenance and routine checks on grinding equipment.
· Handle materials safely and transport components within the work area.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
· Follow all safety procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Report damaged tools, equipment faults, and quality issues to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
· ITI, 10th/12th Pass, or equivalent qualification.
· 1–3 years of experience in metal grinding, fabrication, or manufacturing (freshers may be considered for trainee roles).
· Basic knowledge of grinding tools, abrasives, and metal finishing processes.
· Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
