We are looking for a skilled Proposal and Content Writer to join our team. This role is critical for securing partnerships, developing high-impact project proposals, and managing the organization’s professional communication. You will bridge the gap between technical project goals and persuasive storytelling, ensuring our initiatives are presented clearly to donors, stakeholders, and the public.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proposal Development & Grant Writing:
- Draft, edit, and finalize high-quality project proposals and grant applications.
- Research potential donor requirements and tailor proposals to align with their specific focus areas.
- Collaborate with project heads to translate complex program goals into structured, persuasive documents.
- Develop logical frameworks (LogFrames), budgets, and timelines for new project bids.
2. Content Creation & Documentation:
- Write impact stories, case studies, and annual reports that showcase the organization's success.
- Create content for brochures, newsletters, and digital platforms (website/social media).
- Develop internal project manuals and standardized templates for reporting.
- Ensure all written material maintains a consistent professional tone and aligns with organizational values.
3. Research & Strategy:
- Stay updated on industry trends and government schemes relevant to the social sector.
- Maintain a database of past proposals, donor feedback, and organizational statistics for quick reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Social Work, or Business Management (MBA).
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in professional writing, preferably within the NGO or development sector.
- Writing Mastery: Exceptional command over English (written and verbal) with the ability to simplify technical jargon.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to understand data and use it to build a compelling narrative for impact.
- Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with design tools (like Canva) is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
