Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced L3 IT Support Engineer to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and security solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in hardware, server administration, routing, and Sophos firewall management, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and other IT hardware.
- Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network connectivity.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall and network security solutions.
- Monitor server health, system performance, and network availability.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Perform server backups, updates, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure network security, data protection, and compliance with IT policies.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and technical support.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and incident reports.
- Support infrastructure upgrades and IT projects as required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware & Troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration.
- Good knowledge of Routers, Switches, and Networking.
- Experience in Sophos Firewall Configuration & Management.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and network security.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Support.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Sophos, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
