The Opportunity:
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will own end-to-end delivery of complex SaaS / Data / GenAI programs, ensuring alignment between business goals, architecture and execution.
This is not a coordination role - you are expected to bring technical depth, strong execution rigor and ownership to drive high-quality, scalable, production-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of SaaS / GenAI / Data programs (scope, estimation, timelines, quality and business outcomes)
- Translate ambiguous customer requirements into clear user stories, execution plans and aligned architecture direction
- Drive execution across backend (Node.js) and frontend (React) ensuring scalable, reliable, event-driven, production-ready systems
- Participate in architecture discussions, validate design decisions and drive technical trade-offs with engineering teams
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (microservices, event-driven, data engineering), CI/CD, DevOps and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ensure strong observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) and promote shift-left practices (testing, security, code quality, automation) along with AI-assisted development (Copilot, Claude)
- Validate estimates, plan, capacity and mentor teams on Agile and engineering best practices and support solutioning and pre-sales efforts
- Establish strong delivery governance including sprint planning, tracking, release management and continuous improvement
- Define and enforce Definition of Done, Definition of Ready, release governance and quality gates
- Track delivery health metrics (velocity, predictability, defects, cycle time, lead time) and drive data-driven decisions
- Identify and mitigate delivery, technical and resourcing risks proactively
- Manage cross-team dependencies and unblock teams to ensure smooth execution
- Act as primary customer interface; manage expectations, communication, escalations and align delivery with business outcomes
- Provide regular program updates, insights and risk visibility to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for optimization, automation and account expansion
- Highly resourceful, with the ability to manage resourcing effectively and plan projects from scratch
Requirements:
- BE/MS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in engineering and program delivery
- Well-grounded understanding of backend systems, APIs, and microservices architecture (Node.js preferred)
- Working knowledge of frontend (React) and modern web/mobile architectures
- Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), including deployment, scaling, and system design basics
- Working understanding of system design principles, including scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and production system management
- Strong exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery, estimation techniques and program execution
- Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams and participate in architecture and technical discussions
- Experience working with global customers (US/EU) in a client-facing role
- Experience using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) for development productivity and engineering acceleration
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, business and customer stakeholders
- High ownership, reliability and execution focus; ability to deliver in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders effectively
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a clear, big-picture perspective
Good to have skills:
- Hands-on multi stack experience across enterprise Java & Python and/or Golang, Rust is a big plus
- Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP/Azure services, scaling strategies, cost optimization and cloud-native architectures
- Ability to evaluate and guide system architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems and distributed design patterns
- Experience with data platforms (ETL, Databricks, distributed systems) and modern data architectures is a strong plus
- Apply understanding of performance optimization (caching, bottlenecks) and basic security best practices
- Drive execution across mobile (React Native) and data platforms.
- Experience in designing high-scale, fault-tolerant and performant systems with clear trade-off analysis
- Familiarity with data platforms (Databricks, lakehouse architectures) and basic understanding of GenAI / LLM use cases (RAG, copilots)
- Exposure to infrastructure as code, monitoring, alerting, incident management and reliability engineering
