A Safety Supervisor in the construction industry is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at construction sites by enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, training workers, and preventing accidents and hazards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure workers use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and construction safety regulations.
- Stop unsafe work practices when necessary.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to improve site safety.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
