Job Purpose
To prepare techno-commercial proposals and process designs for water and wastewater treatment systems while coordinating with clients to develop effective and cost-efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Techno-Commercial Proposals
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals for Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants including STP, WTP, ETP, systems.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work to prepare proposals accordingly.
- Coordinate with clients during the proposal stage for clarifications and technical discussions.
- Process Design & Engineering
- Perform basic process calculations and prepare preliminary designs for treatment systems.
- Select appropriate equipment and prepare technical datasheets and specifications.
- Prepare process flow diagrams (PFD) and basic design documents as required.
- Cost Estimation & Vendor Coordination
- Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for treatment plants and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations and technical details.
- Evaluate vendor offers and finalize suitable equipment selections.
- Documentation & Client Support
- Prepare log sheets, reports, and documentation required for projects.
- Prepare and manage monthly tax invoices for clients where applicable.
- Maintain records of proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
- Procurement & Order Processing
- Prepare purchase orders for equipment and work orders for plant-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments for procurement and project execution.
- Client Interaction & Technical Support
- Work closely with clients to understand their treatment requirements and process conditions.
- Provide technical solutions and recommendations for optimal plant performance.
- Quotations & Contract Support
- Prepare quotations for chemicals, equipment, spare parts, and AMC contracts.
- Submit proposals and coordinate with clients for clarifications and negotiations.
- Follow up with clients for order confirmation and project finalization.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Water/Wastewater Treatment will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plant design, proposal preparation, or project engineering.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP, RO & wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost estimations.
- Good understanding of equipment selection and process calculations.
- Strong communication and client coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic engineering tools.
