Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Canteen Dietician to manage dietary services for patients, staff, and attendants. The candidate will be responsible for planning nutritious meal menus, ensuring food quality and hygiene standards, and coordinating with the kitchen team to provide balanced diets as per medical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily diet menus for patients based on medical conditions and nutritional requirements.
- Monitor food preparation and ensure compliance with hospital dietary guidelines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and kitchen staff regarding patient diet prescriptions.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hospital kitchen and canteen to ensure food safety and hygiene.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits and diabetic diet management.
- Maintain records of diet plans, meal consumption, and nutritional assessments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hospital policies.
- Manage inventory requirements related to dietary services.
Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics.
- Registered Dietician certification will be an added advantage.
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in hospitals can apply.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of therapeutic and diabetic diets.
- Good communication and counselling skills.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
