Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility
- Participate in design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the design lifecycle
- Stay updated with the latest engineering tools, technologies, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Experience in industrial or product design will be an added advantage
