Job Description
We are hiring an Electrical Substation Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems for electrical substations. The role involves working on control, protection, and SCADA systems to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & configuration of substation automation systems
- Work on SCADA, RTU, and communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3
- Testing, commissioning, and maintenance of substation equipment
- Troubleshooting control and protection systems
- Coordination with internal teams and clients
- Prepare reports and technical documentation
Required Skills
- Knowledge of substation automation & protection systems
- Experience with SCADA / RTU
- Understanding of IEC 61850
- Relay configuration & testing knowledge
- Ability to read electrical drawings
Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 1–5 years experience
