Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving occupancy and revenue growth for our senior retirement community. Working alongside the Sales Manager, this position involves identifying and converting prospects into residents, building relationships with families, and maintaining a strong market presence. The ideal candidate will combine consultative selling skills with genuine compassion for seniors and an understanding of the unique needs of this demographic.
Reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families, effectively communicating the community's amenities, services, and lifestyle benefits
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through consistent follow-up, relationship nurturing, and conversion strategies
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve monthly and quarterly occupancy targets and sales objectives
- Document all prospect interactions in the CRM system, maintaining accurate records of follow-ups, preferences, and family concerns
- Participate in community events, health seminars, and outreach programs to generate awareness and establish the community as a trusted senior living option
- Address inquiries from prospective residents and families regarding pricing, floor plans, services, healthcare offerings, and resident testimonials
- Partner with the Marketing team to identify high-potential market segments and customize sales pitches accordingly
- Maintain current knowledge of competitor offerings, market trends, and pricing to position the community competitively
- Build long-term relationships with referral sources such as doctors, hospitals, social workers, and senior care centers
- Assist in creating marketing materials and sales collateral that highlight unique selling propositions
- Utilize CRM analytics and sales forecasting tools to track conversion metrics and optimize sales strategies
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of sales experience in real estate, senior living communities, or related healthcare sectors
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with CRM systems and sales software
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Conversational proficiency in Malayalam

- Familiarity with Kerala's senior care market and demographic trends
- Certification in Sales, Customer Relationship Management, or related field
- Experience with long-cycle B2C sales requiring 20+ touchpoints

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
