We are seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori Faculty member to train aspiring teachers enrolled in the PG Diploma Montessori Teacher Training program. The faculty will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical Montessori education, conducting demonstrations, and preparing trainees for successful careers in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Montessori philosophy, principles, and teaching methodologies.
- Train students in Montessori apparatus and classroom activities.
- Conduct practical demonstrations of Montessori materials.
- Teach child psychology, child development, phonetics, storytelling, action songs, and classroom management.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through practical and theoretical examinations.
- Guide trainees during teaching practice sessions and internships.
- Maintain academic records and submit progress reports.
- Participate in curriculum development and faculty meetings.
Qualification
- PG Diploma / Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
- Certification in Early Childhood Education is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Montessori teaching or teacher training.
- Experience handling Montessori apparatus and practical training sessions.
- Prior faculty/trainer experience preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Montessori pedagogy.
- Classroom management and mentoring skills.
- Ability to conduct practical workshops and demonstrations.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam (preferred).
