Quality Control Officer / Executive – Black Masterbatch
(Rotational Shift Role)
We are looking for two technically strong and disciplined Quality Control professionals for our Black Masterbatch manufacturing plant. The selected candidates will work in rotating shifts and will be responsible for in-process quality control, final product testing, production support, batch approvals, and maintaining quality standards during manufacturing.
The candidates should have practical hands-on experience in Masterbatch Quality Control, preferably in Black Masterbatch manufacturing.

Number of Positions
2 Positions (Rotational Shifts)
Industry Preference
- Mandatory experience in the Masterbatch Industry
- Preference for candidates with experience in:
- Black Masterbatch
- Polymer compounds
- Plastic processing QC
Experience Required
- 2–8 years of relevant QC experience
- Hands-on shop-floor quality control experience preferred
Shift Requirement
- Rotational shift duty mandatory
- Candidates should be comfortable handling independent QC responsibilities during shifts
Key Responsibilities
In-Process Quality Control
- Conduct in-process testing during production
- Approve production batches as per specifications
- Monitor process consistency and product quality
- Coordinate with production team for process corrections
Final Product Testing
Perform and monitor testing including:
- MFI testing
- Ash content
- Carbon black dispersion
- Moisture testing
- Density testing
- Jetness
- Tint strength
- Filter pressure value
- Dispersion analysis
- Mechanical property testing
- Shade consistency checks
Production Support
- Support production team in maintaining batch consistency
- Identify quality deviations during manufacturing
- Inform production team immediately in case of abnormalities
- Help reduce rejection and quality complaints
Sample Preparation & Testing
- Prepare samples for testing and approvals
- Maintain testing records and reports
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of samples
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain:
- QC reports
- Batch approval records
- Testing records
- Rejection records
- Shift reports
- Ensure proper documentation discipline
Calibration & Lab Discipline
- Ensure proper handling of laboratory equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of QC lab
- Coordinate calibration and maintenance of testing instruments
Shop-Floor Quality Monitoring
- Monitor:
- Material handling
- Mixing consistency
- Process deviations
- Cleaning compliance
- Batch traceability
- Conduct routine shop-floor inspections during shifts

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc / M.Sc / Diploma / B.Tech in:

- Plastics Engineering

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with hands-on Black Masterbatch QC experience preferred
- Experience handling shift operations independently
- Good understanding of production-related quality issues
- Stable work history preferred
