About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Food Production Faculty to train and mentor aspiring hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate should possess strong practical culinary skills, teaching ability, and industry experience in professional kitchens.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory and practical classes in Food Production.
- Train students in Indian, Continental, Chinese, Bakery, and Basic International cuisines.
- Demonstrate professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Teach food safety, hygiene (HACCP), sanitation, and kitchen management.
- Plan and prepare lesson plans, practical schedules, and assessments.
- Supervise practical sessions and maintain kitchen discipline.
- Manage kitchen inventory, equipment, and raw materials.
- Organize culinary competitions, workshops, and industry visits.
- Guide students for internships, placements, and skill competitions.
- Evaluate student performance through practical and theory examinations.
Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Catering Technology / Culinary Arts.
- Specialization in Food Production preferred.
Experience
- 3–8 years of industry experience in reputed hotels, restaurants, or catering establishments.
- Prior teaching experience in a hotel management institute is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with strong industry experience and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong practical culinary knowledge.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
- Good organizational and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
