Business Development Manager (BDM) – Rooftop Solar
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (Only Jaipur-based candidates will be considered)
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month + Attractive Incentives
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales of Residential, Commercial, and Small Industrial Rooftop Solar projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong local network in Jaipur, excellent client-handling skills, and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously while consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and convert leads for rooftop solar projects.
Handle residential, commercial, and small industrial solar clients.
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and requirement assessments.
Manage multiple active leads and opportunities at the same time.
Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals.
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and execution teams.
Build relationships with channel partners, consultants, and referral networks.
Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Candidate Requirements
Must be based in Jaipur.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Rooftop Solar Sales/Business Development.
Experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Residential Rooftop Solar projects.
Strong understanding of net metering, solar EPC, and Rajasthan solar policies.
Proven ability to handle multiple leads simultaneously and manage the complete sales cycle.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred
Existing network among factories, warehouses, hotels, schools, hospitals, and SMEs in Jaipur/Rajasthan.
Experience using CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
