Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for InvoiceNET ERP. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot software and database issues, assist with ERP implementation, support customers remotely and onsite, and mentor junior support engineers while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for InvoiceNET ERP.
- Diagnose and resolve ERP application, database, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade InvoiceNET ERP at customer locations.
- Configure ERP modules based on customer business requirements.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server databases, backups, restores, and connectivity issues.
- Support client-server environments, networking, printers, barcode devices, and peripherals.
- Assist customers through phone, email, remote desktop, and onsite visits.
- Perform data migration, database maintenance, and software updates.
- Coordinate with the development team to report bugs and verify software fixes.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions.
- Train customers on ERP features and best practices.
- Mentor junior technical support engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer support tickets while maintaining service quality.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/MCA/ M,Sc. (CS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP technical support or enterprise software support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database management, backup, and restore procedures.
- Good understanding of Windows Server, Windows operating systems, networking, and client-server architecture.
- Experience with ERP implementation and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer implementation and support when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting ERP software.
- Knowledge of retail billing, inventory management, accounting, GST, and taxation workflows.
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop, AnyDesk, or TeamViewer.
- Understanding of barcode systems, thermal printers, POS hardware, and receipt printers.
- Basic knowledge of Crystal Reports or DevExpress reporting tools.
- Experience with software deployment and customer training.
