- Graduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Zoology/ Chemistry / Biomedical Sciences / Biomaterials/Materials Science / Polymer Science / Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/Pharmacy/allied subjects with 3 years post-qualification experience
OR
Post Graduate degree (M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm/MVSC) in the above subjects
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-vitro cell culture studies, including mammalian cell maintenance, cytotoxicity assays (MTT, Live/Dead), cellular uptake studies, and evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.
- Assist in the establishment and execution of in-vivo small animal studies (mouse tumor models), animal handling, dosing, therapeutic monitoring, IVIS imaging, and tissue collection.
- Validate computational findings through molecular biology techniques, including qPCR and Western blotting.
- Coordinate experiments across collaborating institutions and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, manuscripts, and scientific presentations.
- Support project management activities, including ICMR reporting, ethics submissions, biosafety compliance, and regulatory documentation.
- Assist PI in ICMR reporting, ethics and biosafety compliance.
Duration & Salary:
- Initial appointment for one year. Extension will be granted annually based on performance review and continuation of the ICMR grant, co-terminus with the project.
- Indicative Remuneration: Rs. 28,000 per month + HRA as admissible (fixed, no other allowances)
