I'deli Cafe is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Store Keeper to oversee our daily inventory, stock control, and vendor coordination. You will ensure seamless kitchen operations by maintaining proper supply levels, enforcing food safety standards, and preventing wastage.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of food, beverages, packaging, and cleaning supplies.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and expiry dates. Reject and report damaged or incorrect items.
- Stock Rotation: Strictly implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO standards to prevent spoilage and wastage.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise manual logs and update inventory management software / ERP systems in real-time.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records to prevent shortages.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, pending orders, and replacements.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure the storeroom, freezers, and chillers are clean, highly organized, and comply with all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role in the restaurant, hospitality, or catering industry.
- Strong understanding of food & beverage (F&B) inventory control and storage requirements (dry stores, chillers, freezers).
- Proficiency in using inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in Petpooja software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
