Counsellor Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct individual or group career counselling sessions to walk-in candidates.
- Assess candidates interests & skills and suggest suitable training options
- Provide information on education and training programs, job search strategies, and job market trends
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates training sessions and progress
- Stay updated on career development theories and practices and industry trends
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications & Skills
- Any Graduate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in career counselling
- Experience in educational or career sector preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and national job markets.
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively assess candidates needs and suggest suitable training program
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of candidates’ information
