Job Summary
The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing medical consultation, clinical support, and preventive healthcare services to beneficiaries under the project. The role includes diagnosis, treatment, patient referral, medical documentation, and support during health camps and community outreach activities. The Medical Officer will work closely with the nursing and field teams to ensure quality medical services are delivered to the community.
Key Accountabilities
· Conduct video/audio tele-consultations with beneficiaries screened at Mobile Medical Units (MMUs).
· Review patient history, Health Risk Assessment (HRA), vital signs, screening findings.
· Prescribe required Point-of-care laboratory investigations and review lab test results.
· Diagnose and treat common illnesses and priority NCDs; oversee clinical care, prescribe medicines as per applicable treatment protocols and telemedicine guidelines.
· Provide clinical advice, counseling and follow-up recommendations.
· Identify high-risk/red-flag cases and facilitate appropriate referrals to appropriate Government, specialist care services.
· Review the beneficiary’s online EMR during the tele-consultation, record clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment advice, prescriptions, referrals and follow-up recommendations.
· Provide clinical guidance to the MMU team and support continuity of care and treatment adherence.
· Provide medical consultation and clinical care to patients and beneficiaries.
· Diagnose and manage common illnesses, minor health conditions, and routine medical concerns.
· Conduct medical assessments during camps and outreach activities.
· Refer patients requiring specialized or advanced care to appropriate facilities.
· Support preventive healthcare interventions and community health initiatives.
· Maintain accurate medical records, patient registers, and consultation notes.
· Ensure safe and ethical medical practice in all project activities.
· Guide nurses and field staff in clinical matters and camp organization.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹72,000.00 per month
