SAP FICO Solution Architect – Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Finance and Controlling solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Provide architectural guidance on SAP best practices, business process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams to define solution roadmaps and implementation strategies.
- Lead fit-gap workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution blueprinting, and process design discussions.
- Design and oversee integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, EWM, and SuccessFactors, as well as third-party applications.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, internal controls, audit regulations, and corporate governance policies.
- Review functional specifications, technical designs, custom developments, enhancements, and integration requirements.
- Drive data migration, reconciliation, testing strategy, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to SAP FICO consultants and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution estimations, proposal preparation, and client presentations when required.
- Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations, Finance transformation trends, and emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements.
- Work remotely while maintaining effective collaboration with global stakeholders and project teams.
- Be willing to travel to client locations as required for workshops, design sessions, project milestones, go-live support, and critical business engagements.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience with multiple end-to-end implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead SAP FICO Consultant.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with global clients and distributed project teams.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,463,856.77 per year
