Job Title: Buffing Operator
Job Summary:
A Buffing Operator is responsible for polishing and finishing surfaces of products or components using buffing wheels, polishing compounds, and hand tools to achieve a smooth and high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate buffing and polishing machines.
- Remove scratches, rust, and imperfections from surfaces.
- Apply polishing compounds or chemicals to improve surface finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality and smoothness.
- Maintain and clean buffing equipment.
- Follow safety procedures while operating machinery.
- Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, or plastic.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of polishing techniques.
- Ability to handle buffing machines and tools.
- Attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Basic machine maintenance skills.
- Physical stamina for standing and repetitive work.
