Oracle Projects Functional Consultant

Job Description:

As an Oracle Projects Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering functional expertise across Oracle Projects, including Project Manufacturing, Project Accounting, Billing, and Costing modules. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements, design tailored solutions and ensure seamless integration between business processes. Additionally, you will be involved in testing, user training, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Bring 5+ years of Oracle Applications R12 functional experience to lead successful implementations of Oracle Projects modules, including Project Manufacturing, Project Accounting, Billing, and Costing.
Provide sound knowledge in P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and O2C (Order-to-Cash) processes within the Oracle Projects domain.
Design functional solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
Oversee and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Conduct training sessions to enable business users and core teams to adopt Oracle Projects functionalities effectively.
Utilize your functional design skills to map fields, identify integration touchpoints, and collaborate on Oracle API usage.
Document and configure the Project Accounting modules to support business objectives.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of key application functionalities to address project-related challenges.
Work independently to perform in-depth analysis and develop practical, viable solutions.

Key Skills:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Oracle Applications R12, focusing on Oracle Projects modules.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5+ years of support or implentation experience in Oracle Applications R12/Cloud PPM Functional roles.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to design functional solutions tailored to business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
Confidence and self-motivation to work independently, manage tasks, and prioritize responsibilities.
