About the Role
Sigachi Industries is looking for a proactive and technically sound Electrical Engineer to support plant operations, maintenance activities, and electrical reliability initiatives at its Dahej manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of electrical systems, minimizing equipment downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in motors, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, transformers, and control panels.
- Monitor and maintain LT electrical distribution systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of production equipment through timely maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for planned shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and inspection reports.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, permit systems, and statutory regulations.
- Assist in energy conservation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise contractors and technicians during maintenance and project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with motors, switchgear, transformers, MCC/PCC panels, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of PLC, VFD, instrumentation interfaces, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.
Qualification & ExperienceITI / Diploma Candidates
- ITI Electrician (For Electrician).
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
BE/B.Tech Candidates
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Electricial Engineer).
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries will be added advantage.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
