Job Summary
Hindustan Iron & Sponge Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and responsible Second Class Boiler Attendant to operate and monitor boiler systems, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers and associated equipment.
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, and water levels.
- Conduct routine inspections and record operational parameters.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Report abnormalities and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Maintain shift logs and operational records.
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid Second Class Boiler Attendant Certificate (Mandatory).
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in boiler operations.
- Experience in Power Plant, Sponge Iron, Steel, Cement, or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of boiler operation and safety procedures.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
