Position Overview
We are looking for a high-ownership, hands-on SCM & Logistics Specialist to independently manage end-to-end supply chain operations, inventory management, procurement coordination, and dispatch logistics for our electrical and power equipment portfolio at our Lucknow office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics & Freight Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods dispatch across domestic markets.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and freight forwarders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe deliveries.
- Manage freight negotiations, vehicle placement, and shipment tracking to minimize transit delays and freight costs.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of heavy electrical hardware, GI/Copper electrodes, backfill compounds, and lightning protection systems.
- Oversee store management, material inward/outward verification, stock audits, and damage/rejection handling.
3. Procurement Coordination & Vendor Relations
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturing units to ensure timely order fulfillment and production schedule alignment.
- Track supplier lead times, evaluate vendor performance, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks promptly.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents including e-Way bills, tax invoices, packing lists, LR/GR receipts, and material test certificates.
- Ensure full compliance with transport regulations and client delivery guidelines.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of core supply chain and logistics experience in the electrical, power, or heavy industrial equipment sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Core Competencies: Strong command over material dispatch, carrier management, e-Way bill generation, stock reconciliation, and freight optimization.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho) and Microsoft Excel.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Lucknow for a full-time, in-office role.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
