Retail Network Expansion & Store Development
Lead strategic planning and execution of retail footprint expansion across India- Develop scientific models for market identification and city selection for new stores
- Build strong pipeline of store opportunities and ensure timely store openings
- Collaborate with business development teams on site selection and lease negotiations
New Business Channel Development
Conceptualize and launch new revenue channels including shop-in-shop formats- Drive strategic partnerships for brand presence in premium retail destinations
- Plan and execute pop-up store initiatives to expand brand reach
- Develop and roll out loyalty programs to enhance customer lifetime value
Customer Experience Excellence
Maintain consistently high customer experience standards across all retail touchpoints- Drive NPS scores and Google ratings through service excellence initiatives
- Build and strengthen customer loyalty programs for enhanced retention
- Manage customer grievance resolution processes effectively
Store Profitability & Operations
Drive store profitability through revenue optimization and cost management- Monitor and optimize rent-to-revenue ratios across the store network
- Implement automation and digital interventions to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to retail compliance and governance standards
People Leadership & Team Development
Build and develop high-performing teams across network expansion and customer experience functions- Provide inputs to training teams for enhancing retail sales officer capabilities
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development
- Drive employee engagement and career development initiatives
Strategic Planning & Innovation
Contribute to annual business planning and strategic initiatives for Taneira- Identify and implement innovative retail concepts and customer engagement models
- Leverage data analytics for informed decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams
Brand Experience & Heritage Preservation
Ensure retail stores reflect Taneira's commitment to India's handloom heritage- Work with visual merchandising teams to create authentic brand experiences
- Champion sustainable and responsible retail practices aligned with Titan's values
- Build stakeholder relationships with artisans and craft clusters
Work Experience
MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Retail Management, or Business Administration from a reputed institute; Bachelor's degree in any discipline with demonstrated business acumen; Background in textiles, fashion management, or retail operations is an advantage
10-15+ years of progressive experience in retail leadership, business development, or sales operations; Prior experience in fashion retail, ethnic wear, textiles, or lifestyle brands preferred; Proven track record in P&L management, network expansion, customer experience strategy, and team leadership; Experience in franchise operations, new channel development, and retail store profitability management essential
Retail Management Certification; Digital Marketing or E-commerce certifications; Fashion/Textile Management programs; Titan Academy certifications (post-joining) including Customer Centricity, Leadership Excellence, and Retail Operations programs
