About the Role
Modish7 is looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand our market presence across Guwahati and the North-East region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing distributor networks, acquiring new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the distributor, salon, and retail network in the assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with salon owners, retailers, and key customers.
- Drive sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy business relationships.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory development plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute marketing and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Channel Management.
- Experience in Beauty, Cosmetics, Hair Care, Salon Products, FMCG, or related industries preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Candidate
