Service Head

The Cluster Service Head oversees the after-sales service operations across multiple dealership locations within a defined cluster or region. The role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, revenue targets, and adherence to OEM guidelines. This position involves strategic planning, team leadership, process standardization, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management
- Oversee service operations across all dealerships in the cluster.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPI) such as workshop productivity, efficiency, TAT (Turnaround Time), and revenue per RO.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturer service standards and compliance audits.
- Customer Satisfaction
- Drive CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and implement customer retention strategies.
- Business & Revenue Growth
- Achieve service revenue and profit targets (including labor, parts, value-added services, AMC, and insurance renewals).
- Introduce new revenue streams (e.g., express service, pick-up & drop, loyalty programs).
- Team Management
- Lead and mentor Service Managers, Workshop Managers, and Technical teams across locations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs.
- Process Implementation & Standardization
- Implement SOPs across all locations for uniform service delivery.
- Ensure proper usage of DMS (Dealer Management System) for accurate reporting.
- OEM Coordination
- Coordinate with the OEM’s regional service office for updates, campaigns, audits, and training.
- Support new dealership launches within the cluster.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
- MBA in Operations or Management is a plus.
- 10–15 years of experience in automobile after-sales, with at least 3–5 years in a multi-location service leadership role.
