Job Summary
CPA Public School is seeking a firm, fair, and responsible Discipline In-Charge to maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined school environment. The Discipline In-Charge will be responsible for ensuring that students adhere to the school's code of conduct, promoting positive behavior, and working closely with teachers, parents, and school management to foster a culture of discipline, respect, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Student Discipline
- Maintain discipline throughout the school campus during school hours.
- Monitor student behavior in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, assembly areas, and school buses.
- Enforce school rules, regulations, and code of conduct consistently and fairly.
- Address instances of misconduct promptly and appropriately.
Supervision & Monitoring
- Conduct regular rounds of the school premises to ensure discipline.
- Supervise morning assembly, dispersal, recess, examinations, and school events.
- Ensure orderly movement of students between classes and during school activities.
- Monitor student punctuality, attendance, and adherence to school uniform standards.
Behaviour Management
- Counsel students regarding discipline, respect, and responsible behavior.
- Maintain records of disciplinary incidents and corrective actions taken.
- Identify recurring behavioral issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Encourage positive discipline practices and recognize exemplary student conduct.
Parent & Teacher Coordination
- Communicate disciplinary concerns with parents in coordination with the Principal.
- Work closely with class teachers and coordinators to resolve behavioral issues.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings when required.
Safety & Security
- Ensure student safety across the school campus.
- Coordinate with security personnel to maintain campus discipline.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to school management.
- Assist during emergency drills and evacuation procedures.
Event & Examination Discipline
- Ensure discipline during examinations, annual functions, sports events, educational trips, and other school activities.
- Supervise student conduct during school assemblies and special programs.
Reporting
- Maintain daily and monthly discipline reports.
- Submit incident reports and recommendations to the Principal or School Manager.
- Suggest improvements to school discipline policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Training or certification in education, child psychology, or school administration is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in school administration, discipline management, student affairs, NCC/NSS, armed forces, police, or similar supervisory roles is preferred.
- Retired defence personnel with relevant experience may also be considered.

Working Conditions
