Job Description: Physiotherapist

Role Summary
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy and rehabilitation care for patients, with special focus on diabetic foot care, post-operative rehabilitation, mobility improvement, pain management, gait training, balance training, and prevention of complications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, pain level, muscle strength, range of motion, gait, balance, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis and patient needs.
- Provide therapy for diabetic foot patients, post-surgical cases, neuropathy, musculoskeletal conditions, wound-related mobility issues, and rehabilitation needs.
- Conduct exercises for strengthening, stretching, balance, coordination, gait correction, and functional training.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture, mobility safety, foot care, fall prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Support patients with assistive devices such as walkers, crutches, orthotics, footwear, or offloading devices as advised.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, therapy notes, progress reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, podiatrists, wound care team, orthotists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, patient safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
- Participate in patient education programs, camps, awareness sessions, and rehabilitation initiatives when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, BPT.
- Valid registration/license as applicable.
- MPT preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- 3–7 years of clinical or hospital physiotherapy experience preferred.
- Experience in diabetic foot care, wound care rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, or post-operative care will be an advantage.
Skills Required
- Good clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and rehabilitation protocols.
- Good communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to work with elderly, diabetic, post-operative, and mobility-limited patients.
- Team coordination and documentation skills.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
