Textile Designer/ Artisan researcher
We are a sustainability-led design consultancy working with artisan communities, responsible brands, and global partners across the fashion industry. We are looking for a motivated Artisan community member interested in research or Textile Designer to support impact measurement and supply chain mapping.
Role
- Map artisan and vendor processes (e.g., meters woven, dye steps, production flow) to build social and environmental impact metrics
- Interact with artisan communities, factories, textile mills, and NGO partners
- Collect data, maintain records, and support impact reporting for domestic and international stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Textile Design
- 2–3 years of research or fashion industry experience
- Strong research, organization, and documentation skills
- Excellent written English communication skills on GSuite (mandatory)
- Understanding of artisan-led, organic, and sustainable production in India preferred
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
