About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build a production-grade Document Intelligence Platform powered by AI Agents. The role involves designing systems that ingest PDFs of varying quality and extract structured data with confidence scoring, human-in-the-loop review, and automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI Agents for document extraction and structured data generation.
- Build robust document ingestion pipelines for scanned, low-quality, and complex PDFs.
- Implement confidence scoring, review workflows, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes.
- Develop RAG-based knowledge systems and agent orchestration workflows.
- Optimize LLM performance, latency, token usage, and operational costs.
- Build evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices for AI agent development.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong AI/ML exposure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Amazon Bedrock.
- Strong expertise in OCR, Document AI, Textract, VLMs, and PDF data extraction.
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, AI Agents, and multi-step reasoning workflows.
- Production experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, retrieval, and grounding.
- Strong understanding of confidence scoring, model evaluation, and Human-in-the-Loop systems.
- Experience building scalable AI applications and end-to-end AI pipelines.
Preferred Skills
- Confidence calibration and selective prediction techniques.
- Evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, and AI quality measurement.
- Data governance and secure handling of proprietary datasets.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) domain is a plus.
