We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition, patient counseling, and diet planning. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized diet plans, and supporting patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status and dietary requirements.
- Develop individualized meal plans based on medical conditions, nutritional needs, and treatment goals.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Monitor patient progress and modify diet plans as required.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nutrition documentation.
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits, lifestyle modifications, and disease management through nutrition.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, food safety standards, and nutrition guidelines.
- Participate in health awareness programs, workshops, and patient education initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dietitian in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
- Experience in clinical, therapeutic, or community nutrition.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
