Job Title: AutoCAD Designer
Location: Silvassa (Near Mumbai)

About the Company
We are a leading manufacturer of custom steel, metal, and wooden products, delivering innovative fabrication solutions to clients across commercial, industrial, retail, and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer who can transform concepts into precise manufacturing drawings while working closely with production, engineering, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD based on customer requirements and engineering specifications.
- Develop fabrication drawings for steel structures, sheet metal components, wooden furniture, fixtures, and custom fabrication projects.
- Create manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with production, project, and design teams to ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and material specifications for production.
- Revise drawings based on customer feedback, engineering changes, and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Coordinate with CNC programming and production teams to optimize designs for fabrication.
- Conduct site measurements when required to prepare accurate fabrication drawings.
- Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and engineering records.
- Support estimation and costing teams by providing technical drawings and quantity calculations.
- Ensure timely completion of design deliverables within project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, SketchUp, or similar 3D CAD software will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- 5–10 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within steel, metal fabrication, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Hands-on experience preparing fabrication drawings for manufacturing environments.
- Experience with custom fabrication and production-oriented design is preferred.
